🚨 PRESS RELEASE: Georgians for a Healthy Future has launched the “Getting Georgia Covered” campaign to help sustain one-on-one enrollment assistance for Georgia families as navigator funding reaches new lows. As health coverage becomes more expensive and complicated, enrollment assistance is more critical than ever. GHF remains one of the few organizations in Georgia helping residents navigate both Medicaid and the Georgia Access marketplace—connecting families with the coverage and support they need. 📣 The campaign runs May 13–19, and every contribution helps support enrollment assistance operations serving Georgians year-round. 💬 “Every call we answer teaches us something… The Getting Georgia Covered campaign supports the people doing that direct work, and it strengthens the advocacy that grows out of every conversation.” — Laura Colbert, Executive Director, GHF

Today (April 22, 2026), Georgians for a Healthy Future released the Georgia Mental Health Parity Dashboard—a first-of-its-kind tool tracking whether insurance plans are complying with state and federal mental health parity laws. Why This Matters: Too many Georgians still face barriers to mental health and substance use care. Some insurers are not meeting parity standards—even years after the law’s passage. This dashboard brings transparency and accountability to how coverage decisions are made.
